Nuevo Asistente de en Frances

My name is Matthieu LACOMBE. I was born on the 8th of november 1996, in France. I have been studying in classe préparatoire (BL - Humanities and social sciences) for two years, then completed a philosophy licence. I am in Quibdó as a french assistant for one year that is a gap year in the middle of a philosophy master. I wish to become a philosophy teacher next year and maybe start a doctorate.

Back in France, I have been working benevolently for a student ideas newspaper called La Gazelle. I took charge of the Society section for a year and have been writing articles for two.

 

 

 

 

Faizan Ahamad comes from Azamgarh city in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh.

He has completed his Master of Philosophy (MPhil - Maestría), Master of Arts (MA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish language & literature. His majors at bachelors and masters level included Spanish philology, literature & history and Latin American literature & history apart from Spanish-English translation. His MPhil work entitled “Las características morfológicas de los sustantivos, los pronombres y los adjetivos en urdu y español” delineates with the foreign language teaching of Spanish. He has also completed Diploma in Spanish Language, receiving a gold medal for topping the course from Jamia Milia Islamia (University), New Delhi, India. He has also presented a paper titled Las características morfológicas de los sustantivos en urdu y español at the VI International Conference on HISPANISM held on 8-9 March 2018 at JNU, New Delhi, India.

He has a working experience of teaching Spanish at iB Language Classes, in New Delhi, India and he worked as a Research Scholar at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. His professional language proficiencies include Spanish, English, Hindi & Urdu.

 

 

2017

• Asistentes de Idiomas en la UTCH

Daniel Simon Walter Kalfon was born in País (France), his mother and father is French is from Austrian because of this he is native from two language, French and German.

He studied Social and Economic Sciences, a master in Human and Social Sciences with a mention in Sociology /Antropology, a specialization in <Migrations and interethnic relationships> with the university of Diderot-Paris 7 (France).

Daniel has work in different countries: France, Australia, Germany and Colombia. In each one of those countries besides working in tourism and hotels he also works in a boarding school as a language assistant and has visited different language centers (French, English, German and Spanish).

 

Christophe Martin is from The Reunion Island localised in the south of Africa between Madagascar Island and Mauritius Island in the Indian Ocean . He studied in a lot of countries like Perpignan in France , Africa, in Barcelona and Valencia en España, en Barranquilla en Colombia. He worked five years  like turist guide and comercial in Reunion Island and he promotes events like festivity of gastronomy about local coffee of Reunion Island. He studied Spanish Philology (Literature,history, poerty, spanish and latino languages and America latina y Spain traduction in the french language). In the UTCH, Christophe will support  french UTCH teachers in the teaching of french language . He will be responsible of the Conversation Club which will be constituted  by students grups. He will establish plays, performances in the Conversation Club in which the students can express their ideas, their opinon about their knowledge about french culture. In the Conversation Club, it will be about watching videos , documentals about France y french departements.

• Asistentes de Idiomas en la UTCH

Alex Allison is the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant for the 2016-2017 academic year. Born and raised in Indiana, Alex attended Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) and graduated with an Honors Degree in History. During his undergraduate career Alex coauthored an article for the Encyclopedia of World Poverty and an article for the Women’s Lives Encyclopedia. Additionally, Alex acted as the Assistant Editor for Reviews for the academic journal Enterprise and Society. Following his graduation in December 2015, Alex moved to Barcelona, Spain where he became a TESOL/TEFL certified English instructor. Alex then taught private English courses in Barcelona for one year, and left Barcelona for Colombia in July 2016. After completing his Fulbright scholarship in Quibdó, Alex intends to pursue a graduate degree in history.

Perfil

Born in Paris and grew up in the Parisian suburb. Speaks French and German as native languages (mother is Austrian), upper-intermediate in English and Italian.
Studied photography in Graz (Austria) and in Paris ; worked as a photographer in the Conseil Régional d’Île-de-France (regional council of Paris and its suburb) ; did some exhibitions of photography in Graz (Austria) and in Split (Croatia).

Worked as a tutor in a boarding school in the Parisian suburb. Worked as a French assistant in Germany (close to Berlin) and in Graz (Austria).
Just graduated with a Master of Anthropology (« Migrations and Interethnics relationships ») at the University Paris Diderot 7.

 

2015 - 2016

• Nuevo Profesor de Ingles, Eric Sype:

Eric is a recent graduate from Seattle University. He graduated with a degree in Humanities for teaching and a minor in Spanish. During his time at SU, he was heavily involved in student government and served as the Student Body President his senior year. Eric is extremely excited to be working at the UTCH and plans to try to integrate aspects of the culture from his home city of Seattle into his English lessons. He also plans to partner with the existing leadership program at the UTCH as well as volunteer in a local high school.
